Monster Cookies

Something sweet to eat for The Oscars. Monster cookies are perfect because they combine so many simple flavors. It is so easy to make them.

1) Combine butter, sugars, greek yogurt, peanut butter or almond butter in mixer. Mix until well blended. Add 2 eggs. Add vanilla.

2) Combine dry ingredients: oatmeal, flour, baking soda. Mix into wet ingredients until well blended and tacky.

3) Add chocolate chips and m&ms. Stir to combine. Spoon onto greased cookie sheet. Slightly flatten. Add 1-2 m&ms on top of each cookie to give it the ‘monster cookie’ appearance.

4) Bake at 350′ for 10-12 minutes.

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup Greek yogurt*

1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 1/2 cups quick oats

1 cup flour (I used 1/2 quinoa flour and it turned out quite well)

1 tsp baking soad

1 tbsp vanilla

3/4 cup SS chocolate chips

3/4 cup dark chocolate m&ms

*you can use 1/2 cup butter instead of 1/4 Greek yogurt and 1/4 butter. I like the denser consistency that comes with the Greek yogurt…plus it’s a little healthier 🙂
